Bangkok metropolitan area and a remarkably

On
the banks of the Chao Phraya, this riverside
landmark is fashioned after the Cambodian
styled pagodas of Angkor Wat. The vertical
sides are patterned in floral mosaics from
porcelain platters.
The
most beautiful view of the temple is from
the east side of the river at sunset.

Suthat
Set in a peaceful area of the city, Wat Suthat is
recognized by the line of Golden Buddhas.
Wat
Ratchanatdaram and the Metal Castle
This intricate 3-storey structure, built in
1846, is topped by 37 spires. Inside the structure
are ancient Buddha images dating back to the Ayuthaya
era. This is the only one of its kind in Thailand.
The
first was built in India for use by Buddhist monks
during Lord Buddha's time over 2,500 years ago.
River
Cruise
Life on the Chao Phraya River - For around
150 Th.Baht you can hire a boat and cruise along
for more than three hours through all the small
canals and see some of the old temples and monuments.
