King Naresuan The Great Shrine
This shrine, near Chakkrapongse Camp, houses a standing statue of King Naresuan. The background relating to the construction of the shrine is that King Naresuan once led his army through the Prachinburi area to Lawaek Town and slaughtered the ruler, Nak Phrasattha, for the Pathom Kam ceremony.

Wat Phra Si Maha Pho
In the compound of this monastery lies the largest Bhodi tree in the country. The seedling stock of this Bhodi tree was brought over from Buddha Gaya, India. There are various Buddha images of different attitudes enshrined around the trunk.

Royal Handwriting Monument
The monument, in the play ground of Lai Phrahat School, is a stone slab inscribed with the royal handwriting of King Chulachomklao who made a visit here in 1908. It is now revered as an important place of worship in Prachinburi.

Wat Kaeo Phichit
This very old important monastery sits on the bank of Bang Pakong River. The unusual characteristic of this monastery is the combination between the Greek and Thai arts and the mural paintings inside the Ubosot are memorable.

Khao Ito Waterfall
This is a famous natural tourist attraction of Prachinburi comprising of a main stream that passes through rapids at many levels. However, there is water only during the rainy season and at the beginning of the cool season.

Huai Kasian Waterfall
In the area of this waterfall you can view the beautiful mountainous and jungle landscape around Prachinburi.

Saladdai Rapid
The big rapid in Khlong Prachantakham is locally called by Prachantakham inhabitants "Takhraw Waterfall". A very popular spot.

Sa Kaeo and Sa Khwan
These two ponds sit next to each other and the water, regarded as sacred, is used as a part of the water for the coronation ceremony.

Thap Lan National Park
Established as a National Park in 1981, it covers over 2,000 sq.km. The plants mostly found here are of the palm family.

Pang Sida National Park
Established as a National Park one year after Thap Lan, this 844 sq.km. area has some rare species of plants only found in the north east.

Prachinburi National Museum
Standing next to City Hall, the museum puts on interesting displays of artifacts discovered within Prachinburi province and nearby areas. Also exhibited are ancient sculptures from different periods with an aim to educate the visitors on Thai art history.
