Of Interest Phra
Phutthabat Shrine
The name of this shrine literally means the Buddha's
Footprints which are housed in the Mondop on the
shelf of Satchaphan Khiri Hill. The footprint was
discovered in the reign of King Songtham of Ayutthaya.
There are two annual fairs celebrating the footprints.
Phra
Putthachai
This literally means the Buddha's Shadow, located
in the foothills of Phatthawi Hill. The main attraction
is the shadow of a Buddha image seen on a cliff
wall in pleasant surroundings.
Tham
Krabok Buddhist Monk Sanctuary
This place, famous for its treatment provided against
drug addiction, is located in the area of Pong Prap
Mountain Range.
Muak
Lek Arboretum
This arboretum, on Friendship Highway covers an
area of 375 rai at the middle point between Saraburi
and Nakhon Ratchasima province.
Nam Tok Sao Nai or Chet Sao Noi
This very popular spot has many levels and the surrounding
area is naturally beautiful with a spacious shady
swimming area.
