| How To Get Here
Of
all the islands off the Trang
coast, Koh Muk is the most
developed. Primarily a fishing community, the island
is home to around 1,000 Muslims, all earniing their
living from the water. The main beach, Ao
Makham, is virtually water-free durimg low-tide
but when the water level is up makes for easy swimming
as the water is never too deep.

On
the west side, Emerald Cave
is a must-see...
Reachable
by longtail boat, this natural cave has it's opening
at the bottom of the cliffs and you can swim through
in the darkness. The
waters around this area are so clear that the sun rays
give an ever-changing colour range of green, blue and
turquoise.
Please
Note
Ensure you are out of the cave before high-tide or you
won't be able to get out! |
