Ao
Thung Wua Laen
A peaceful bay with a beautiful beach, located 16
km north of Chumphon and known locally as "Cabana"
beach. More and more bungalows are being built in
the area as visitor numbers grow.
National
Museum
Good day out. Exhibits including Chumphon Past/Present,
Growth of Chumphon and History of Royal Thai navy,
born in Chumphon. Located on the road to Cabana
Beach, next to Channel 11 T.V studio.
Hat
Sairi Beach
Home to the Shrine of H.R.H. Prince Chumphon, Father
of the Royal Thai Navy and the wonderfully named
"Dr. Porn's Herbal Garden".

Nam Chumphon
At the mouth of Chumphon River is a true glimpse
of a traditional Thai working environment.

Tok Kapo Forest Park
This small forest in Ban Tha Sae is a pleasant shady
park, with a small waterfall and various plants
and flowers.
Hat
Arunothai
Arunothai Beach, in Thung Tako district, is a good
spot for camping. There are hiking trails and rock-climbing
nearby. The beach is reached via the Phetchakasem
Highway.
Off-Shore
Islands
There are several off-shore islands along the coastline
of Chumphon that are worth a visit. Koh Mat Phon,
a small island situated at the mouth of Ao Chumphon,
Koh Sak, Koh Phrao directly in front of Hat Sai
Ri, Koh Lanka Chiu and Koh Rang Nok where cliff-dwelling
swallows build the nests.
Caves
Chumphon province has spectacular caves in Lang
Suan district, Tham Khao Ngoen and Tham Khao Kriep.
Lang Suan is also regarded as one of the best places
in the province to sample fresh fruit.
Before
entering Chumphon township area and in Amphoe Tha
Sae, there is a cave called Tham Rap Ro which houses
and old Buddha image and beautiful stalactites.
