The
Similans
The
trip to The Similan Islands takes about three hours
but is certainly worth the wait. Some of the best
diving sites in the world are here as well as some
excellent fishing.
The
park is made up of nine islands in total and is
famous for both surface and under water beautiful
scenery.

Mu
Koh Surin National Park
To
reach this four island park, the most convenience
and the least time taken is from Ban Hin Lad in
Krura Buri district. The total journey is about
4-5 hrs.
The
islands' main attractions are long, beautiful beaches
with smooth white sand, lines of perfect shallow
water, a sizeable coral reef and mainland inhabitted
by sea-gypsies.
Bungalows
are available but this park is popular so it is
best to book in advance. Information at any travel
shop in Khao Lak.
Tham
Phung Chang
On Chang Mountain behind the provincial prison,
replicas of famous Buddha images are housed in this
beautiful cave in addition to strange stalactite
and stalagmite formations.
Tham
Nam Phud
Located near the foot hill of Khao Toy, this
cave is highly-revered by the Phang-Nga people.
A natural spring bubbles up near the cave mouth
where a shrine is constructed for the spirit called
"Chao Phun Thao Kong".
Tham
Suwan Khuha
Part of Wat Suwan Khuha or Wat Tham, here you
will see Buddha images, prangs and pagodas in addition
to a lot of beautiful stalactites and stalagmites.

Tok Toan Phangnga
Also Called Nam Tok Toan.The Falls cascade
from multi-levelled stone platforms on the mountain.
Nam
Tok Lampee
This waterfall cascades from a very high cliff
into a wide reservoir below and is good for swimming
in the crystal-clear water.
Thai
Muang Seashore
The beach in this area stretches openly for
a long distance,unobstructed by cliffs. Very clean
and safe place for soaking up a few rays.
Khao
Pilai Seashore- Very similar to Thai Muang,
stretching out for a good distance. The Beach road
has some good hawker food.
Stone
carvings from Episode of Ramayana Epic
Fine stone carvings of the God Narayana, King
Laksha and Queen Sita of the Ramayana. These are
the oldest works of art found in Phang-Nga and it
is presumed that Kaling Kharat tribal people who
once lived along the Indian Ocean coast made the
carvings.
Ancient
Town of Ban Thung Tuk
Great historic site just outside Phang-Nga
main town. There are several ruins left in the area
thought to be the remnants of the first town constructed
by ancient Indian settlers in the region.
