Trang's Islands & Beaches
Stunning islands, bays and beaches, Trang's coastline is one of Thailand's best kept secrets! Away from the crowds in neighbouring Krabi and the pulse-racing Phuket, Trang is a wonderful escape...

- Koh Lanta
Although officially within the borders of Krabi province, Koh Lanta is realistically associated with Trang, due to most visitors arriving from Pak Meng pier and local business arriving from the province. Rapidly growing into an international escape, Lanta remains one of Thailand's true gems!

- Koh Kradan
Surely the most beautiful island in Trang! Koh Kradan is 40 minutes from the mainland by boat and large portions of the island come under the protection of Hat Chao Mai National Park. The beautiful powdery sand beach and coral reef along the coastline make this island a must-see. Bungalows and restaurants are scattered around the island.

- Hat Pak Meng
This is the most famous beach in Trang, but far from the best. The beach itself is ordinary compared to Hat Chao Mai, but the long beach road is a lively spot of small stands selling local food.

Main point of departure for Koh Lanta and Trang's other islands.

- Tham Morakot, Koh Muk
The main area of the island is high cliffs, home to plenty of swallows, where the beautiful cave "Tham Morakot" can be found. Koh Muk is 30 minutes by boat from the mainland.

- Koh Libong
Tranquil escape, popular with travellers just wanting to chill out and relax, take in a few rays and generally do nothing for a few days!

- Koh Ngai (Koh Hai)
In the Andaman Sea, just off the shore from Hat Pak Meng, this tiny island actually comes under Krabi Province, being part of Koh Lanta National Park. The boat from Pak Meng takes 40 minutes to reach the island. Koh Ngai is located amidst the so-called "Islands of Tales", another big tourist attraction in the Andaman Sea because of their well-preserved natural environment.

- Palian Seaside Resort
Beautiful beaches in this resort are Hat Chao Samran and Hat Ta Se. There are also several off-shore islands, the most well known being as Koh Sukon.

- Kantang Seaside Resort
Seaport on the coast of the Indian Ocean having several small off-shore islands dotted in the water.
